The largest source of pollution we have stems from the way we transport our food, clothes, and everything else we consume and use. While some things are very hard to produce at home, food such as vegetables and herbs are easily grown at home.

Besides not having to transport the food from a distant farm to your plate via ships, planes, trucks, and even supermarkets, it is also a way to ensure that you know exactly what’s in your food and where it came from.

Especially in times of COVID-19 restrictions this also helps to socially distance, save some time in the supermarket, and is even a fun new hobby!

Check out how easy it is to grow your own food in our Global Community Resources in the Food category!
