WASTE

Waste - A term that has two definitions that are coincidentally very much related to sustainability and efficiency: "to waste something" and "something that is waste".

 

In the one sense we are saying that something like time or resources are being thrown away and in the other sense that something is okay to discard.

This is not true however as all waste is essentially a resource and is literally wasted rather being trash. While the trash that we are creating from nearly all of our processes is currently the biggest threat to our ecosystems and wildlife, it can act as an efficient and accessible resource if used in the proper ways.
